Chart FX


Although I can uninstall the software, the machine is not currently connected to the internet or my proxy settings do not allow programs to automatically connect to the Internet, so the uninstallations may not notify your activation servers. How do I properly uninstall the software in this case?
If your computer is not connected to the internet or your proxy settings prevent running programs to automatically connect to external sources, our activation servers may not automatically be notified when the software is uninstalled. If this is the case, please uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs and then submit the following information to security@softwarefx.com:
  • Serial Number
  • Public IP address
  • Original computer make and model
  • Attach InstallFX.log file. This file is located on:
Windows 7 and Windows Vista: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\installfx.log Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Temp\installafx.log 

Please make sure the option "Show Hidden Files or Folders" is enabled since both LocalSettings and AppData are hidden folders.
Once you submit the uninstallation details required above, please allow up to 24 business hours for the activation records to be adjusted accordingly.
